Bev and Will—graduates of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, where they met—have been married for almost fifty years. The big day is January second next year. After retirement, Will took up photography, first black and white and then in color and digital. He would put his photographs on Bev's desk looking for a little admiration. One day, she started imaginatively inking them, thereby giving birth to the Inkagraph. People who saw them—our three children, five grandchildren, artist friends— said "they are great," "I love them," "you must do something with them," "take them to a gallery," and the like. So here we are, thanks to Imagekind, exhibiting them to the public for the first time. We hope you enjoy viewing them as much as we've enjoyed creating them.
